I'd like to give a shout out to all of those no kill animal shelters out there! I'm always pushing others to adopt from an animal shelter instead of a pet store. Trust me, it's worth it. Most animals living in shelters have gone through hard times that lead up to where they are now such as abuse, owner surrenders (from careless situations), and even hoarding situations. These animals need a caring, loving home for them to live their golden years. Don't want an older animal? Don't worry! Animal shelters carry kittens and puppies that have also been found as strays or sometimes born in the shelter from a rescued mother. Remember, don't buy, ADOPT!
