Pug

Weight: When full grown, male pugs should weigh between 13-20 lbs and females should weigh between 13-18 lbs.
Grooming: Since their coats are short, a quick brushing should keep this fur from getting tangled. However, make sure you clean out the skin folds on the pug's face to rid this furry friend of dirt and bacteria.
Training: Pugs are a little hard to train since they can be a stubborn at times. Be prepared to spend a lot of one on one time either training your pug or taking him to obediance classes.
Health: Because of the muzzle, the pug can have breathing problems and may wheeze. Pugs are also prone to skin and eye problems along with allergies.
Lifespan: Between 12-15 years
Personality: Pugs are little balls of energy (exercise should be moderate) but are small enough to live in an apartment. They also are known to become jealous if not spent enough time with. So make sure to snuggle with your pug as much as you can!





Labrador Retriever

Weight: Between 70-90 lbs when full grown
Grooming: Easy to groom, a quick brushing and your good to go!
Training: Their willing to please attitudes make training moderately easy, start their training as a puppy

Personality: Very outgoing, needs lots of opportunities to play in large spaces such as a dog park. Best for families who own a house and has the time for annual walks or has a fenced in yard. A great dog for families with children that are old enough.
